Planning Protest
Jefferson Slaw Bootski talks about what’s happening with the 22 Floors building, potentially being kicked back to the streets, and the protest the monsters are planning.

This all started a couple years ago with Saddle Creek Records building their complex in the north downtown area of Omaha. And now the development in that area is booming.
Well, this area is our home. This is where the 22 of us have lived our lives, undisturbed. And now this onslaught of development has pushed us out of our natural habitats.
We’ve been seeking shelter in the 22 Floors building for the past few months, and we just got notice that Bluestone is trying to find renters to replace us.
Here’s the deal, if they can’t find any renters, then we get to stay put.
So, please, we beg you… DO NOT RENT FROM 22 FLOORS!
(And to be honest, we’d like to keep these affordable, brand new, modern studios that are nearby Slowdown, Film Streams, Blue Line, Hot Shops, etc. to ourselves.)

Local skateboard monster got attacked by some dogs while tresspassing to skate a backyard ramp the other month.
MPN was able to catch up with him, and he mentioned he is almost back 100%, and ready to get back at it.
You can watch the videos at GretchHilton.com and see the actual attacks in the second video of the post. Scary stuff.
Get well soon, Kenny! MPN wishes you well!
Huge congrats to Donald Vanderbroom for being featured on NE Creative, Nebraska’s Design and Advertising Blog!
It is great to see the monsters in Omaha constantly raising the bar!
UPDATE: Vanderbroom will be one of the pros at OFA’s Meet The Pros, reviewing student portfolios.

What a highlight to see our great city featured on today’s post over at Design*Sponge!

Take a moment and check out the post then comment it up!
What the heck, Omaha?
This will just lead to more nodo development, and more destruction of our natural habitat!
Fellow MPNers!
A quick note to remind you of the Leave The Premises Conference.
The date is Dec 7th 2009 in Omaha, 11am - 2pm. See you there!
Things are moving fast here in the Omaha, NoDo area. So much development, so much movin and shakin!
It’s been tough for a lot of us finding new places to co-work and live. We can do this and pull through. Go Team Community!
A lot of exciting stuff going on. More soon…
